Carbon Dating

My idea is about bring people together by forming a group/club called ‘Carbon Dating.’ It is based on the idea of speed dating which encourages people to meet and talk with others.

At this event the idea will be to get groups of people to discuss the issues around climate change. This will allow people to understand that small changes in the way they live their lives can make a big difference globally.

The 'Post it' poster was designed for next years Graduate Graphic Design Degree show.It was printed onto a large number of 'post it's' in order to get people to 'Stick around for the show!'

MTV is a Virus brief D&AD 2008 (In Book Award)

The idea of my MTV virus is to infect and invade electronic equipment via Bluetooth. To do this I have created a playable game along with a video. Mobile phone users will pick up the ‘virus’ in a wi fi area infecting and corrupting the phone with MTV.

Track - A journey into the postal service.

This project was devised to study the progress of items sent through the post by Royal Mail.

A G.P.S. tracking device was used to monitor different aspects of a parcels journey around the UK. The tracker recorded time, speed and the co-ordinates of each journey and these were interpreted by Goggle Earth. The designer visited all the locations mapped on the journey and ‘light/time’ boxes were photographed at each location in real time to record the visit.

The study went on to embrace different aspects of the postal service from the point of view of the package in transit. This included sorting, delivery by the postman, through the letterbox and the sound accompanying the passage of the package.
